Data Deletion

1. How to submit a request

Send an email to:

privacy@playgrafito.com

Use the subject:

Grafito Data Deletion Request

Send the request from the same email address associated with your Google or Facebook sign-in and include:

• your display name
• the OAuth provider used
• the email associated with the account
• whether you want full account deletion or only removal of specific comments

Do not send passwords, OAuth tokens, government identification, or other unnecessary sensitive information.

2. Identity verification

We may ask you to:

• sign in again
• reply from the associated email address
• confirm limited account information

This is required to prevent unauthorized deletion requests.

3. What may be deleted

Depending on your request, we may delete or anonymize:

• your Grafito user record
• linked OAuth account references
• active sessions
• profile name
• email address
• avatar URL
• comments
• moderation records that are no longer necessary

4. Comments and discussion structure

Comments may be permanently removed or replaced with a non-identifying placeholder when needed to preserve the structure of a discussion.

Hidden or deleted comments may remain in limited backups for a reasonable period before being overwritten.

5. Information that may be retained

Limited information may be retained when reasonably necessary for:

• security
• fraud prevention
• abuse investigation
• legal obligations
• enforcement of the Terms
• backup integrity

Any retained information will no longer be used for ordinary account participation.

6. Response and completion

We will acknowledge the request and may provide a request reference.

We aim to complete verified deletion requests within 30 days, unless additional time is reasonably required or applicable law provides a different period.

You will receive confirmation when the request has been completed.

7. Facebook deletion requests

Users who signed in through Facebook may also initiate a deletion request through Facebook's application settings.

Grafito processes valid Facebook deletion requests through the data deletion mechanism configured for the application.
